I definitely want to visit Taiwan! I'm not sure I can teach English there as I think I'd need a degree. Maybe with enough experience behind me I could be considered! It sounds wonderful!!

Hi, Taiwan is better organized than Maldives. Everything is planned and prepared for, so for a pilot is life easy. Food and transportation is cheaper than in Maldives, but renting a place for living is expensive. The nature is beautiful with a lot of mountains. Now in the winter are the highest peaks decorated with snow. But air pollution is a problem. Some of it is "imported" from mainland China and is visible from above as a 2 km thick blanket.

Hi Sarah, My mind always travel when I see a map. And, wow, you have a Norwegian author in your library! I'm flying in Taiwan now and waiting for the summer and dive season to start. I'm trying to be patient, but it's not easy...
