Four hours?! Wow.. Yes actually I remember having to wait too, there were so many tour groups. The boat ride sounds wonderful! I'd love to see the coast by sea, though the cliff roads are quite a ride!!

We visited Capri in 2008 - I really wished we'd gone up the cable car but when we visited, but the queue was four hours long! The lovely bay is charming and we took a great boat ride down the Amalfi coast from Capri.

Haha skivvies ?? well there's always the safety element, I wasn't naive in my travels and could often rely on my gut feeling to know when I could go meet new people for dinner or whatever, if I ever had a bad feeling at all I would not put myself into the situation. But it's just amazing how more open I am when I'm solo that when traveling with someone else!

That sounds amazing! I can be very shy about talking to strangers (especially single guys) because I've had some bad experiences, but maybe I should be more adventurous. The Blue Grotto is so magical! No wonder you were willing to go swimming in your skivvies!

Haha so pleased you enjoyed it Tae! You're so right, and I cherish the moments and conversations with new people-- I read a quote the other day saying that each person we meet is "a guide" sent to us. I believe it's true!
