Oh wow, Indonesia! We are drawn to all sorts of magical places. Where have you just moved?

By: Sarah
Thanks Blair. I've been living in La Gomera, Canary Islands almost 2 months now! :)

reading your post makes me feel so relax, imagining those scenes in your post. How long have you stayed?

Aw, felt like I was right there with you. Alone time, especially when you're in the moment, is really something special. I felt something similar when I was alone in Lombok, Indonesia and enjoyed waking up in my tiny rooftop hotel room and exploring the town on foot. Alone but not really :P Beautiful post and I can totally relate to hopping in and out of a routine (currently also trying to start fresh ;))

Thank you :) yes it seems such a simple thing to do, but talking to people can be tough when dealing with anxiety. Proud of my improvement!

Lovely post. I love the story style of this. I'm glad you can now say pull up a chair to people... or maybe accept the invite from others. It's amazing who you can meet that way. ^^

Grass is always greener and all that! Enjoy your time in Granada :) and try and take some time next Friday to see all the magic around you :D

Thank you! That's what I'm really trying to avoid, writing like "first I did this then went here then did this and these are the photos" glad you enjoyed!

For me, Fridays are usually days of doing nothing, just come back from work and go straight to bed to watch a movie. I would love to swap, and be a beach in Spain, watching the sunset from a cafe. Today though, I am in Spain, writing this comment from a sunny terrace in Granada.

That sunset is incredible! Like a willy wonka sky! I love how this post is about a moment, a feeling in time rather than just the usual mumbo jumbo. Really enjoyed seeing life through your eyes!
