Thanks Kelsey! And here I am, wondering what it could be like to have my whole life based somewhere. Luckily for us, our possibilities are endless. <3

This story is amazing!! Currently a graphic designer in Chicago, where my whole life is based, but sometimes I wonder what it would be like living a life like this. Always traveling. Amazing.

Thanks Tom! Yeah I'm still here in Spain, on the island in the Canaries. Planning a summer exploring the other 6 islands here especially using Workaway- have you ever used it? Well the blog will be here, I think, for a little while anyway! But I just got a bit fed up of 90% of my page views being for Maldives and nothing on my more personal topics!! So I guess this isn't the place for it, so I'm going to move elsewhere haha XD Thanks again, yes I'll definitely put a post up! No idea on the new URL yet, but it will be heavily focused on inner work :) Have fun in Asia!!

Hey Sarah! I stumbled across your blog again on my travels. Finding a hostel with Wi-Fi can be challenging sometimes especially when travelling Asia on a budget. I read the last comment by chance - it's a shame you're thinking of discontinuing this blog. There's some great stuff in it about how travelling opens our eyes to our inner and outer self. What are you up to these days? Are you still 'una senorita inglesa' en espana or have you moved on to new and exciting pastures? If you do start a new blog make sure you announce it to your followers here! I'm off. I have some baby tigers to get selfies taken with! :D Love, Tom x

Hello Victoria! What a beautiful comment- thank you so much. I'm so pleased my writing resonated with you. Of course you're feeling that way- France and USA, pretty different! You're also probably feeling some kind of 'fight or flight' experience. A lot of people just go home, because that's easier than facing the real issue, but you need to find what's best for you. I'm actually thinking about discontuing this blog, because I'm no longer interested in writing about living abroad or travel- once it was new and exciting, but now it's just my life and kind of, well- ordinary, I suppose. Maybe I've come to realise that where I am isn't what defines me. I want to set up a new blog that focuses more on inner work, healing and personal growth especially with yoga, with the odd post about travel and culture. If any of that resonates with you, I'll send you a message when it's up and running!

Excuse me while I pick my jaw up from the floor for a moment. What a timely discovery I've made stumbling across your blog. I can relate to so much of this. I Google "stages of emotions from moving abroad" and found expats of the world. The stages were insightful and inspiring. (I'm only in week two, moving from California, US to Bordeaux, France and dealing with feelings of "what the hell have I done/doing with my life?!?!"). And your "About Me" floored me. I look forward to reading more. You're an excellent writer and just reading what I have so far, feel like you and I's hearts beat very similarly.

I just saw this movie( yes I'm a little late to the party) and had to find the quotes. Happiness is finding out someone else likes what you liked and posting it on the internet so you don't have to watch the entire movie again to write down the quotes.

Hi Sarah, I came over your blog trying to find information about La Gomera, I can really relate to a lot of what you have written about yourself under about me. I have lots of questions regarding moving to la Gomera. Would it be ok to write to you privately? Regards Lene
